About our printed plastic bags

Our printed burgundy plastic carrier bags – 38 cm wide – can be printed on one side or two sides! We print your design in a single colour ink using a flexographic printer (silver, gold or black look best!).

Manufactured and printed in the UK, for premium quality and a quick delivery!

Quality

These premium burgundy carriers are an extremely popular choice for fashion boutiques and designer menswear retailers.

Our printed bags have super thick 90 micron handles that are neatly punched out. Each bag is 45 micron in the body and has heat sealed sides for additional strength.

How will my bags be printed?

Plastic carrier bags are customised using flexographic printing. This uses polymer printing plates attached to a rotating steel cylinder to transfer ink from a roller known as an “anilox” to the polythene film to produce an image.

The film is cut and sealed on a different machine to create the bags. The maximum print area is 30cm x 25cm.

Artwork

After placing your order, please email your artwork to [email protected] stating your order number; with any instructions of design. For best results, send it over as one of the following files:

  • 300dpi JPG / JPEG
  • PNG
  • PDF
  • EPS (Encapsulated PostScript)
  • AI (Adobe Illustrator)
  • SVG (Scalable Vector Graphics)

Please be aware that by default we will position your artwork in the middle of the printable area. If you have any requirements, please email details over with your artwork. Once we've got everything we need, we'll quickly get back to you with proof.  Please note in busy business periods this may take up to 2 working days.

One off set up charge

The one off set up charge, or 'origination', covers the cost of the printing block for foil printed boxes or the cost of proof, production of film and the printing screen for silk screen printing (for paper laminate bags, jute, and cotton) or flexographic plates (for kraft paper twist or tape handle bags, or polythene bags). The charge is always shown on the price grid of this page, or on your cart.

There is no set up charge for repeat orders, unless you decide to update your design.
