About our printed plastic bags

Professionally printed plastic carrier bags – 30 cm wide – in dark (bottle) green. If you are buying printed carrier bags you need to be sure you’re buying quality so you receive great value for money and maximum brand exposure.

Our green plastic carrier bags are premium quality:- 45 micron in the body and are 90 micron near the handles offering superior strength!

All of our printed bottle green bags have punched out handles and heat sealed sides. What’s more, they’re 100% degradable too.

Ink colours

For best results, we print all bottle green bags with either gold or silver ink. Printed using a flexographic printer your logo will appear in a single colour that instantly stands out. Choose to have your bags printed on one or two sides.

What does printing my logo onto the carrier bags involve?

We use flexo printing to custmoise your carrier bags. Flexographic printing uses polymer printing plates attached to a rotating steel cylinder which transfer ink from a roller known as an “anilox” to the plastic film to produce the design.

This film is then cut and sealed on a different machine to make the bags.

The maximum print area is 22cm x 20cm.

We charge a nominal fee to include delivery by Royal Mail.  We will refund your samples when you
order from us - please advise at the time of your order.

Artwork

After placing your order, please email your artwork to [email protected] stating your order number; with any instructions of design. For best results, send it over as one of the following files:

  • 300dpi JPG / JPEG
  • PNG
  • PDF
  • EPS (Encapsulated PostScript)
  • AI (Adobe Illustrator)
  • SVG (Scalable Vector Graphics)

Please be aware that by default we will position your artwork in the middle of the printable area. If you have any requirements, please email details over with your artwork. Once we've got everything we need, we'll quickly get back to you with proof.  Please note in busy business periods this may take up to 2 working days.

One off set up charge

The one off set up charge, or 'origination', covers the cost of the printing block for foil printed boxes or the cost of proof, production of film and the printing screen for silk screen printing (for paper laminate bags, jute, and cotton) or flexographic plates (for kraft paper twist or tape handle bags, or polythene bags). The charge is always shown on the price grid of this page, or on your cart.

There is no set up charge for repeat orders, unless you decide to update your design.
