Your boxes will be skilfully hand printed in-house using our hot foil machine.
Your logo/text is printed onto the lid of the box in a single colour, for best results we print clear text or images –
this helps ensure you have a professional crisp image.
The maximum print area for this box is 80mm x 80mm.
Why do I pay a set-up fee on my first order?
The set-up fee covers the cost of creating a printing plate (stamp of your design).
We charge a set-up fee on the first order is because we need to create this stamp specifically for you.
The set-up fee is a one-time charge, unless you decide to make changes to your design in the future.
Match your boxes with your brand; choose from 12 standard colours of foil, or we can source an
extensive range of foil colours so if there’s a colour you can’t find please get in touch!
For a contemporary look you can have an embossed finish without foil (blind print).
Our boxes are produced using greyboard (a mix of recycled and waste paper) and are recyclable.
The outer wrap paper is recyclable and where possible the paper is sourced from FSC certified suppliers.
Inserts are not currently recyclable, we are working on this and in the meantime encourage people
to find innovative ways to reuse them!
We can assure you that, yes, foil stamping is eco-friendly and you should have no concerns about any
negative long-term effects that your designs will have on the environment.
Independent studies determine the biodegradability and the recyclability of foil stamped paper.
Foil has no visible effects in slowing down the rate of biodegradation of the paper & board.
Foil also does not affect the repulpability of the paper substrate.
A study carried out by FSEA/PIRA has found that the foil, like ink, can be successfully removed
by the flotation de-inking process with no particles remaining once the paper was re-pulped.

After placing your order, please email your artwork to [email protected] stating your order number; with any instructions of design. For best results, send it over as one of the following files:
Please be aware that by default we will position your artwork in the middle of the printable area. If you have any requirements, please email details over with your artwork. Once we've got everything we need, we'll quickly get back to you with proof. Please note in busy business periods this may take up to 2 working days.
The one off set up charge, or 'origination', covers the cost of the printing block for foil printed boxes or the cost of proof, production of film and the printing screen for silk screen printing (for paper laminate bags, jute, and cotton) or flexographic plates (for kraft paper twist or tape handle bags, or polythene bags). The charge is always shown on the price grid of this page, or on your cart.
There is no set up charge for repeat orders, unless you decide to update your design.
