How are my boxes printed?
Your magnetic boxes will be skillfully hand printed in-house using our hot foil machine. Your logo/text
is printed onto the lid of the box in a single colour, for best results we print clear text or images – this
helps ensure you have a professional crisp image.
Match your magnetic boxes with your brand; choose from 12 standard colours of foil, or we can source
an extensive range of foil colours so if there’s a colour you can’t find please get in touch!
For a contemporary look you can have an de-bossed finish without foil (blind print).

Why do I pay a set-up fee on my first order?
The set-up fee covers the cost of creating a printing plate (stamp of your design).
We charge a set-up fee on the first order is because we need to create this stamp specifically for you.
The set-up fee is a one-time charge, unless you decide to make changes to your design in the future.
Quality
The boxes are manufactured from 900gsm card and 120gsm paper. We buy direct from the manufacturer
this means that we have complete control over consistency of supply, quality and price. We quality check the
stock when it arrives at our UK Warehouse in Worthing.

Environment
Our magnetic boxes are made by an FSC manufacturer. FSC certification means that you can trust the paper
used in creating this product is from environmentally sound resources. This is an independent globally
recognised certification. You can read full details about FSC here.
When manufacturing these boxes our supplier uses 100% compressed paper scraps to create the base greyboard.
The glue used to put the boxes together is made from naturally occurring substances. The box itself can be reused
multiple times, it has a long life due to its strength.
After its final use the structure itself can be recycled (please remove the magnets and ribbon, these could be
reused elsewhere). Foil and recycling – because the boxes are repulpable, when a printed box is repulped
the foil dissipates within the re-pulping process (because the foil is so thin). Here’s a little more information for you:
Foil stamping is eco-friendly and you should have no concerns about any negative long-term effects
that your designs will have on the environment.
- Foil printing is a totally dry, solvent free process.
- Paper & board that has been foil stamped can be recycled.
Independent studies show – no visible effects in slowing down the rate of biodegradation of the paper & board. Foil also
does not affect the repulpability of the paper substrate. A study carried out by FSEA/PIRA has found that the foil, l
like ink, can be successfully removed by the flotation de-inking process with no particles remaining once the
paper was re-pulped.
