Brown paper bags are a must have packaging supply for many retailers, particularly those who sell food. These rectangle shaped paper bags are the perfect bags for bakeries, food takeaways and greengrocers alike.

We are pleased to tell you that they are certified Food Safe to EC Regulation 1935, 2004 for materials intended to come into contact with food. We recommend that they are used for dry foods only such as sandwiches and cookies (wet foods would make these bags soggy and split).

If you sell fruit and vegetables, these are perfect for smaller items.

These basic bags are made from 37gsm unbleached food safe kraft paper. They are supplied strung and shrink wrapped, they’re neat and easy to store from point of delivery.

When not in use you can store them safely free of dust and any contamination in their shrink wrap outer layer. When in use you can pop them on a hook beside your counter-top so they are easily accessible and neatly stored.

We have a range of block bottom square based bags, made from strong 70gsm kraft paper, these are much thicker than traditional counter bags and have the benefit of an added square base – so they’re roomy!

We also sell American grocery bags if you would like something much larger. Tape handle and twist handles bags are also another popular purchase when buying paper carriers.

Environment

These paper bags are made from 100% recycled raw materials – so they are environmentally friendly too!

Certified to EN13427, 2004 for compliance with recycling standards, 100% recyclable. Our paper is sourced in the Netherlands, which helps minimise the transportation ‘footprint’.
